E. Approval Of Updates To Personnel Policy Manual <br />Lewanda stated that review of the modified and updated Personnel Policy <br />Manual, adopted by the Board on December 18, 2003, indicated that a few <br />changes were desirable for reasons of clarification of policy intent and <br />complying with current laws. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />updates to the Personnel Policy Manual as presented. <br />9. Park Division Report <br />Friedl commended Senior Parks Planner Pluth and Parks Superintendent <br />Marchesano for their efforts at Conejo Creek South, a current major <br />construction site, and recent location of Conejo Valley Days. He said the <br />project is moving forward, American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) will <br />recycle the existing light fixtures, installation of new lighting will begin May 17, <br />the new grass fields are not expected to be ready for opening day, but the <br />existing fields will be refurbished and ready, and staff will meet with AYSO <br />officials on May 14 to discuss specifies, <br />Continuing, Friedl said that four Request for Proposals (RFPs) have been <br />received for Lang Ranch Community Park, interviews with all four firms will be <br />conducted, and a recommendation for a consultant for environmental work will <br />
