Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families <br />Agenda — April 28, 2004 <br />Meeting Recap — March 24, 2004 <br />Gibson stated that the next meeting is scheduled for April 28 at Hillcrest <br />Center, the Coalition met earlier in the day and approved the revised <br />bylaws, and the upcoming Parenting Conference, which is cosponsored by <br />the Coalition, is scheduled for May 22. <br />Jacobsen commended Gibson on chairing and contributing to the dynamic <br />group, which is very important to the community. <br />B. Teen Center Status Report - Fall 2003 — No Comment <br />C. Correspondence Regarding Park Dedication Fees Received — No <br />Comment <br />D. Budget Performance Report — March 2004 — No Comment <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Friedl reported that the Notice of Application for dog park lighting has been <br />published and the public comment period extends to April 29; and he <br />commended staff, specifically Parks Superintendent Marchesano, <br />Maintenance Supervisor Rojo, Senior Parks Planner Pluth and Equipment <br />Operator Gann for their efforts to ensure that the Conejo Creek site is <br />prepared and ready for Conejo Valley Days and the Chili Cook -Off. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton reported that the summer brochure was mailed today, and summer <br />registration begins April 27; at the Teen Center, in addition to two middle <br />school dances, a high school dance scheduled for April 23 will feature an <br />open soda bar, pizza, deejay, music and a video projection show; at the <br />Cultural Unit, an evening of jazz featuring "Combo Defacto" is scheduled for <br />
