April 22, 2004 <br />Page 5 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0 to <br />adopt Resolution Number 042204-D initiating proceedings for the <br />annual levy of assessments for fiscal year 2004-2005 and ordering the <br />preparation of an Assessment Engineer's Report for Landscape <br />Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); that it be read in <br />title only and all further readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to <br />adopt Resolution Number 042204-E approving the Assessment <br />Engineer's Report for proceedings for the annual levy of assessments <br />within Landscape Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); <br />that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0 to <br />adopt Resolution Number 042204-F declaring its intention to provide <br />for an annual levy and collection of assessments in Landscape <br />Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch) and setting a time <br />and place for Public Hearing thereon; that it be read in title only and all <br />other readings be waived. <br />Holt said that the Public Hearing is scheduled for May 13, 2004. <br />B. Adoption Of Resolution Number 042204-G Authorizing District to <br />Apply For Grand Funding Through Land And Water Conservation <br />Fund Program <br />Friedl provided background information. He stated that, with Board <br />approval, staff will apply for the Land and Water Conservation Fund <br />Program grant to offset Phase I development costs at Conejo Creek Park <br />(Southeast Quadrant), and Westlake Rotary has offered to provide <br />matching funds for this grant opportunity. <br />Gibson noted that Little League is also seeking grant funds from Amgen for <br />the Amgen field. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 042204-G authorizing the District to apply for grant <br />funding through the Land and Water Conservation Fund Program; that <br />it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />
