Park Division Report Friedl reported that, relative to Conejo Valley Days and the Chili Cook -Off, parking issues have been resolved and, with the cooperation of the Teen and Goebel Centers and Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD), Conejo Creek North will be utilized; the Persian Festival is March 28, and although AYSO has identified March 28 as a rain date, the rain date schedule is somewhat flexible; and Borchard Shop and the Stagecoach Inn carriage building are being treated for termite eradication. They reported that staff has met with Steve Sepidehdam, a festival participant, who indicated he would like to have amplified sound and serve food at the festival; staff members indicated that they were not likely to favorably consider a piecemeal approach at permitting the event; no official organization has taken responsibility for the event; expenses totaling $25,000 were incurred last year, but almost all was recouped; and a parking fee of $20 per car will be charged this year.
