APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was requested that Item 8.13. precede Item 8.A. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as modified; i.e., Item 8.13. to precede Item 8.A. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval Of Minutes Of February 17, 2005 Meeting <br />B. Approval Of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $310,250.03 <br />Payroll Total $238,698.07 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7_ DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />B. Approval To Accept Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) American <br />Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) <br />Friedl provided relevant information and referenced the long-standing <br />beneficial relationship between Conejo Recreation & Park District (CRPD) and <br />the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) for the improvement, <br />maintenance, management and use of the soccer fields at Conejo Creek <br />Southeast. He said that the MOU states that AYSO agrees to provide lights, <br />$300,000 over the next five years, and will strive to raise another $400,000 <br />toward the cost of completing the improvements envisioned in the Master Plan <br />for Conejo Creek South, for a total commitment of $1,000,000; additionally, <br />CRPD agrees to continue its efforts to add capital improvements, consistent <br />with the Conejo Creek Master Plan, and to ensure AYSO has priority use of <br />the soccer complex. He noted the presence of Chuck Huffer, representing <br />AYSO, Region 9. <br />
