NEW ITEMS <br />B. Approval To Accept Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) American <br />Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) <br />Friedl provided relevant information and referenced the long-standing <br />beneficial relationship between Conejo Recreation & Park District (CRPD) and <br />the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) for the improvement, <br />maintenance, management and use of the soccer fields at Conejo Creek <br />Southeast. He said that the MOU states that AYSO agrees to provide lights, <br />$300,000 over the next five years, and will strive to raise another $400,000 <br />toward the cost of completing the improvements envisioned in the Master Plan <br />for Conejo Creek South, for a total commitment of $1,000,000; additionally, <br />CRPD agrees to continue its efforts to add capital improvements, consistent <br />with the Conejo Creek Master Plan, and to ensure AYSO has priority use of <br />the soccer complex. He noted the presence of Chuck Huffer, representing <br />AYSO, Region 9. <br />
