CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 3, 2005 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Berger called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m., and Mike McAdam led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Assistant General Manager Friedl, <br />Administrators Benton and Lewanda, Senior Parks Planner Pluth and Executive <br />Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Annual Division Service Awards <br />Skate Park Specialist Rick Manner Recreation Leader Frank Jensen <br />Recreation Leader Paul McCarter Recreation Leader Cynthia Clardy <br />Recreation Leader Gia Lew Maintenance Worker Bill Bower <br />Benton introduced Rick Manner, Paul McCarter, Gia Lew, Frank Jensen and <br />Cynthia Clardy, presented overviews of their professional and academic <br />accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, staff, co-workers, family and the Board of Directors for <br />their support, and expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Fdedl announced that Bill Bower was chosen to be Parks and Planning Employee <br />of the Year, and reviewed his professional accomplishments. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on <br />the District's behalf. <br />The meeting was recessed at 7:55 p.m., and reconvened at 8:05 p.m. <br />
