Approval Of Agreement With Nextel Of California, Inc./Sprint, For <br />Purpose Of Establishing A Cellular Communications Site At Dos <br />Vientos Community Park <br />Friedl supplied background information. He stated that the proposed cellular <br />communications facility at Dos Vientos Community Park, which will be paid <br />for by Nextel/Sprint, will expand coverage in the area, provide a much <br />needed storage facility for Pony Baseball, and generate a steady stream of <br />income for the District. The District will receive $3,000 dollars for the one- <br />year option period as Nextel/Sprint performs its due diligence and obtains the <br />necessary entitlements, and should Nextel/Sprint decide to exercise its lease <br />option, it will then pay $2,000 a month. He noted the presence of Lou <br />Bucello, Sprint representative. <br />
