B. Approval Of Agreement With New Cingular Wireless, Inc., For Purpose Of Establishing Cellular Communication Facilities At Borchard Community Park And Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park Friedl provided background information. He noted that establishing lease agreements with cellular communication companies is becoming increasingly profitable for the District, facilitates reinvestment back into the park by the District, and the lease agreements are identical to our previous agreements with Cingular. Relative to Borchard Community Park, he stated that the proposed installation involves replacement of an existing light standard and locating an equipment vault approximately six feet below grade; whereas at ]rang Ranch Neighborhood Park, the proposed installation involves only an underground equipment vault, which will not be visually obtrusive or interfere with park activities. He noted the presence of Jeff Jacobsen, Cingular representative. It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to authorize the General Manager to enter into two separate lease agreements with New Cingular Wireless, Inc. for the purpose of establishing cellular communication facilities at Borchard Community Park and Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park.
