City of Thousand Oaks Correspondence Relative to Proposal to Draft <br />Ordinance Banning Smoking in Outdoor Public Areas <br />Gibson, Holt and Berger expressed concern about the ordinance and <br />requested clarification and further information on its potential impact on <br />District sites. <br />Lange stated his support of extending the no smoking prohibition to areas <br />of food preparation and consumption. <br />F. Notes from Rancho Potrero Community Workshop - July 2, 2007 <br />Friedl referenced the documentation and said that COSCA, City of <br />Thousand Oaks and District staffs have held discussions relative to <br />preparation of the Specific Plan. <br />Gibson noted that annexation requires a Specific Plan, but it does not <br />preclude later modifications. <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Hare stated that during his recent vacation, he had the opportunity to meet <br />numerous National Park Service personnel, and the meetings facilitated <br />learning opportunities and a beneficial exchange of Information and ideas. <br />EDAW is still reviewing input, including traffic issues, for the Lang Ranch <br />Environment Impact Report, and it is anticipated that Board certification will <br />be sought in late September or early October. <br />
