August 2, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br />Segedie further clarified the operation of the system. <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Segedie said that, in addition to the <br />purchase and installation of the system, staff will investigate pertinent <br />security issues. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize the General Manager to enter into an agreement with <br />Vermont Systems, Inc. for the purchase and implementation of <br />RecTrac recreation management software in the amount of $55,743 <br />and the purchase of associated hardware in the amount of $15,000. <br />B. Approval of Proposed 2008 Board Meeting Calendar <br />Friedl referenced the proposed 2008 Board of Directors' meeting schedule, <br />and stated that it was modified to avoid conflicts with scheduled events and <br />dates of professional conferences. The proposed schedule consists of 21 <br />meetings, the same as in 2007, and additional or special meetings may be <br />added as necessary. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Lewanda said that she did not anticipate <br />the 2008 budgetary process would extend into August. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />the proposed Board of Directors 2008 meeting schedule. <br />9.
