Approval of Agreement with Vermont Systems, Inc. for Purchase and
Implementation of RecTrac Recreation Management Software
Lewanda thanked all those involved in the process and provided relevant
background information. She stated that currently the District utilizes
several different software systems in the Recreation and Community
Services Division, each is provided by a different vendor, they do not
communicate with one another, and in some cases are no longer
supported. After a great deal of investigation, staff believes that Vermont
Systems' RecTrac represents the best solution by meeting all of the
District's core requirements, including enhancement of public access to
registration and reservations capabilities, and integration of all systems,
which will result in greater internal efficiency and reporting capabilities.
