May 10, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Public Hearing — Fiscal Year 2007-200812008-2009 Budget <br />Jacobsen declared the Public Hearing open. <br />As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, the Public <br />Hearing was continued to the next regular meeting on May 24, 2007 <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Public Hearing — Adoption of Resolution No. 051007-A, Approving <br />Engineer's Report, Confirming Diagram and Assessment, and <br />Ordering Levy of Assessment for Fiscal Year 2007-08 Districtwide <br />Assessment (AD 62-1) <br />Hare supplied background and relevant information. He stated that on April <br />19, 2007 the Board directed preparation of the annual Engineer's Report for <br />the Districtwide Assessment (62-A), preliminarily approved the Engineer's <br />Report and set the date, time and place for the Public Hearing to consider <br />final approval of the Engineer's Report, confirm the diagram and <br />assessment and order the levy of assessment for fiscal year 2007-08. <br />Continuing, he said the submitted resolution confirms and approves the <br />final Engineer's Report and the levies of $29.46 per single-family equivalent <br />unit throughout the District, except for properties covered by AD 92-1 <br />(Rancho Conejo) or AD 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch), where the levy is <br />reduced to $14.73 per single-family equivalent unit. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 051007-A, approving Engineer's Report, confirming <br />diagram and assessment and ordering levy of assessment for fiscal <br />year 2007-08 Districtwide Assessment (AD 62-1); that it be read in title <br />only and all further readings be waived. <br />9.
