SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Conejo Pre -Kindergarten Program — Recreation Supervisor Lori Olbrich, <br />Recreation Coordinator Matt Kouba <br />Olbrich provided an overview of the program. She stated that the pre -kindergarten <br />Program at Conejo Community Center was begun in 1998, and was suggested by <br />a parent. Approximately 96 children attend annually, and the goal is to <br />academically prepare children for kindergarten, while encouraging manners, <br />respect and teamwork. She introduced Kouba and Cotty Bailey, pre-school <br />teacher. <br />Board members expressed their appreciation to staff for the excellent presentation <br />and program. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $525,587.65 <br />Payroll Total $579,973.47 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to approve <br />the warrants as presented. <br />
