April 19, 2007 <br />Page 4 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-B directing preparation of the Engineer's <br />Report, declaring the District's intention to levy assessments for 2007- <br />08, preliminarily approving the Engineer's Report for Districtwide Park <br />Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (62-1) and <br />providing for a notice of public hearing; that it be read in title only and <br />all other readings be waived. <br />C. Adoption of Resolutions 041907-C, 041907-D, 041907-E for Landscape <br />Maintenance District (LMD) 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and Adoption of <br />Resolutions 041907-F, 041907-G, 041907-H for Landscape <br />Maintenance District (LMD) 94-1 (Dos Vientos) <br />Hare referenced the documentation and stated that: assessment district law <br />requires the annual preparation of an Engineer's Report for the purpose of <br />identifying improvements and levying assessments for the maintenance of <br />those improvements; three of the resolution are for LMD 92-1 (Rancho <br />Conejo) and three are for LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos); the three resolutions for <br />each LMD initiate the annual levy proceedings, preliminarily approve the <br />Engineers Report, and declare the intention of the District to levy the <br />assessments, and setting the time and place for the required Public <br />Hearing; the recommended assessment for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) is <br />$47.06 per benefit unit and the maximum assessment rate adjusts from <br />$79.29 to $82.07 per benefit unit; the recommended assessment for LMD <br />94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch) is changing from $169.36 per benefit unit to <br />$212.38 per benefit unit; and the maximum assessment rate with LMD 94-1 <br />(Dos Vientos) adjust from $259.11 to $268.18. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-C initiating proceedings for the annual levy of <br />assessments for fiscal year 2007-2008 and ordering the preparation of <br />an Assessment Engineer's Report for Landscape Maintenance District <br />No. 92-1 (Rancho Conejo Playfield); that it be read in title only and all <br />other readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-D preliminarily approving the Assessment <br />Engineer's Report for proceedings for the annual levy of assessment <br />within Landscape Maintenance District No. 92-1 (Rancho Conejo <br />Playfield); that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />
