It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution No. 041907-F, initiating proceedings for the annual levy of assessments for fiscal year 2007-2008 and ordering the preparation of an Assessment Engineer's Report for Landscape Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution No. 041907-G preliminarily approving the Assessment Engineer's Report for proceedings for the annual levy of assessments within Landscape Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. Approval of Districtwide Weed Abatement Agreement with Pepo Weed Abatement, Inc. for $96,015 Hare said that, although the Board approved staffs authority to renew the Pepo contract through fiscal year 2007-2008, staff believes the cost of $96,015 warrants Board consideration; actual square footage is reduced this year by 65,244 square feet as a result of work accomplished through Conejo Hazard Mitigation Grant; staff recommends renewing the agreement and believes the unit price of $.030 per square foot is reasonable.
