April 19, 2007 <br />Page 5 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-E, declaring its intention to provide for an <br />annual levy and collection of assessments in Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 92-1 (Rancho Conejo Playfield) and setting a time and <br />place for public hearing thereon); that it be read in title only and all <br />other readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-F, initiating proceedings for the annual levy of <br />assessments for fiscal year 2007-2008 and ordering the preparation of <br />an Assessment Engineer's Report for Landscape Maintenance District <br />No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); that it be read in title only and all other <br />readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-G preliminarily approving the Assessment <br />Engineer's Report for proceedings for the annual levy of assessments <br />within Landscape Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos Ranch); <br />that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 041907-H, declaring its intention to provide for an <br />annual levy and collection of assessments in Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos. Approval of Districtwide Weed Abatement Agreement with Pepo Weed <br />Abatement, Inc. for $96,015 <br />Hare said that, although the Board approved staffs authority to renew the <br />Pepo contract through fiscal year 2007-2008, staff believes the cost of <br />$96,015 warrants Board consideration; actual square footage is reduced <br />this year by 65,244 square feet as a result of work accomplished through <br />Conejo Hazard Mitigation Grant; staff recommends renewing the agreement <br />and believes the unit price of $.030 per square foot is reasonable. <br />
