Approval of Minutes of February 26, 2007 Meeting <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Award Bid for Purchase of 2007 1 -Ton Stake Bed Truck to Simi Valley <br />Ford in Amount of $30,456.99 <br />Hare reviewed the bid process, stated staff recommendation and <br />referenced the bid opening documentation. He said that a notice to bidders <br />was advertised in the Ventura County Star on February 7, 2007; <br />additionally, staff directly mailed bid notifications to eight local automobile <br />dealerships; four bids were submitted; and Simi Valley Ford is the low <br />bidder with a bid of $30,456.99, which meets all required specifications. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0 to <br />award the bid for the 20071 -ton stake bed truck to Simi Valley Ford in <br />the amount of $30,456.99 from account 10-20-340-4819. <br />B. Approval of Out -of -District Use of Mobile Stage by City of Agoura Hills <br />Benton stated that the City of Agoura Hills and the Kiwanis Club of <br />Thousand Oaks are both requesting use of the mobile stage; the former for <br />its outdoor concert series, the latter for its Barbecue and Chili Festival; and <br />there are no date conflicts with the District's use of the stage. She said staff <br />requests that, in the future, the General Manager be given authority to <br />approve requests for out -of -district use of the stage. <br />
