CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 15, 2007 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Holt <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Benton, Hare and Lewanda, <br />Recreation Manager Lindsey and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Teen Center Presentation — Brenda Coleman and Jay Dodwell <br />Coleman provided a Teen Center presentation, including recent teen events, <br />special programs, excursions, sports and attendees. She identified recently <br />purchased resources including a large plasma screen television, lobby furniture <br />and a barbeque. She commended Teen Center staff, including Jay Dodwell, Teen <br />Services Coordinator. <br />Board members congratulated Coleman, Dodwell and Teen Center staff. <br />Benton said staff anticipates submitting the presentation to professional <br />organizations and other local agencies. <br />Coleman said that satellite teen programs are now being presented at other <br />centers. Lindsey said that the Boys and Girls Clubs also help meet the needs of <br />the local teen population. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0, to approve <br />the agenda as presented. <br />
