Appointment to the Goebel Senior Center Commission <br />Benton synopsized the appointment process and the election, and said that staff <br />proposal is to approve the Commission recommendation of Toni Ranslem to serve <br />the remainder of a three-year term. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Short, and carried 4-0 to approve <br />appointment of Toni Ranslem to serve the remainder of a three-year term on <br />the Goebel Senior Center Commission. <br />9. Park Dedication Fees Received <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare said that the ribbon cutting ceremony for Northwoocl Dark has been scheduled <br />for November 7 at 1 PM. A neighborhood meeting to discuss a disc golf course at <br />Thousand Oaks Park was meld on September 16, and the meeting went very well. <br />Hare stated that the inventor of disc golf was George Sappenfield, a former employee <br />of the District. <br />Short requested that the Board be informed in advance of future neighborhood <br />meetings. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />She said that the Concerts in the Park series concluded on September 7 with A <br />Tribute to Elvis featuring Raymond Michael. <br />
