She recommended adoption of the <br />resolution. <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 061710-C, establishing the annual appropriations subject to the <br />limitation set forth in Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California; <br />that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />9. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare said that construction on the Ranger Office is finished, and bids for McCrea <br />Ranch improvements will be opened next week. The City of Thousand Oaks will <br />begin construction on the Norwegian Grade project this summer, and a <br />preconstruction conference on the creation of a bike path at Conejo Creek South was <br />conducted. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Wiley referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />Summer Day Camps began this week. Numerous events will occur on July 4, <br />including the fireworks spectacular, pancake breakfast and Home Run Derby at <br />Borchard Community Center; Concert in the Park at Conejo Community Park; and <br />family open swim at the Community Pool at California Lutheran University, as well as <br />Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park High School pools.
