Public Utility Easement with City of Thousand Oaks at Conejo Creek Southwest <br />Park <br />Hare provided information. In order to improve flow and siphoning of water at <br />terminus of Gainsborough Road, the City of Thousand is recommending replacement <br />and realignment of an existing sewer line. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to authorize General <br />Manager to enter into a public utility easement with the City of Thousand Oaks <br />at Conejo Creek Southwest Park. <br />9. Activity Summaries <br />In response to Board inquiries relative to the skateboard park, Benton said that exclusive <br />time is set aside for younger skaters, helmets are required, and staff regularly checks on <br />activities and continually monitors the area by way of cameras. <br />Jacobsen commended Benton on the number of self-supporting recreation programs. <br />B. Senior Nutrition Grant <br />Friedl highlighted the topic of the Senior Nutrition Grant. He stated that, at the request of <br />the City of Thousand Oaks, the District will apply for grant funding for the program, with <br />which it is already involved.
