May 22 will be the grand <br />opening of Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course, and the labyrinth at Borchard Park is near <br />completion and is looking very good. <br />In response to Board inquiry, he said that the Conejo Valley Days site at Conejo Creek <br />South is not yet completely vacated, and thus some relocation of subsequent events <br />has been necessary with no loss of revenue. Staff is working to restore the site. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />The Arts Counci[ of the Conejo Valley is presenting a Fine Art Exhibit, "ACCV & <br />Friends May 6 through June 30 in the Galleria at Hillcrest Center for the Arts. The <br />Young Artists Ensemble presentation of Anne of Avonlea starts May 7. The Aquatics <br />Unit presents Family Water Safety Day Saturday May 8, and Mother's Day at the <br />Community Pool on May 9. The Teen Center will present the May Dance for 7th and <br />8th grade middle school teens on May 15. The Outdoor Unit presents Sycamore to <br />the Sea on May 15. The grand opening of Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course is on May 22 <br />and will include hot dogs and free commemorative flying discs and a tournament. <br />Goebel Senior Adult Center will present Generation Celebration on May 22 and the <br />preliminary pageant for Ms. Senior America on May 23. <br />Benton highlighted the planned activities for the upcoming Amgen Tour of California <br />race. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda gave a brief overview of the State budget crisis and possible ramifications to <br />local governments. <br />
