DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare noted current projects include disc golf, Borchard Park and Conejo Creek Park <br />amenities, and the relocation of the Ranger office. He said that staff will shortly <br />begin discussions with Standard Pacific to assume responsibility for the completion of <br />Dos Vientos Playl'ields. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />The Teen Center will host a Valentine's Day Dance for 7t' and 8u' grade school teens <br />and a Valentine's Day Concert for high school students. The Goebel Senior Adult <br />Center will participate in a joint program with the City of Thousand Oaks, Ventura <br />County Area Agency on Aging and Senior Concerns to provide nutritious lunches at <br />the Goebel Center and a free viewing of Slumdog Millionaire. A new romantic Sunset <br />with your Sweetheart Hike for adults will be offered on February 13. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />L.ewanda stated that five audits are in progress. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl stated that the City of Thousand Oaks is experiencing budget stress, which <br />
