It is expected that a Conejo Valley Days <br />agreement will be finalized next week, but no carnival production will be included <br />unless payment in full for last year's event is received. He will shortly meet with <br />Executive Director of Local Agency Formation Commission ( LAFCO), and this is <br />the year for municipal service reviews. Friedl plans to attend the first California <br />Association of Recreation and Park Districts (CARPD) Legislative Meeting of 2010 <br />on February 11 in Sacramento. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange stated that at the February 2 Ventura County Special Districts Association <br />(VCSDA) meeting, he was honored with the Trustee Award, and expressed <br />appreciation for everyone's support. A visitors center project is underway at King <br />Gillette Ranch. He presented a status report on CalLAFCO, and discussed <br />continuing regionalization concerns. He noted that at the recent Mountains <br />Recreation and Conservation Authority ( MRCA) meeting, audit issues were <br />discussed, and, at his request, Lewanda gave a brief overview of the audit process. <br />Gibson said he attended the recent Pleasant Valley field opening. <br />F.
