January 21, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />Recipients thanked the Board, staff, co-workers, families and the Board of Directors for their <br />support, and expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:00 p.m., and reconvened at 8:15 p.m_ <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0, to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of January 7, 2010 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $772,599.16 <br />Payroll Total $567,727.13 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Conejo Valley Family Fun -Fest Chili Cook Off and Classic Car Show — 2010 <br />Annual Agreement and Permit Conditions, Conejo Creek Park <br />Hare stated staff recommendation that the General Manager be authorized to <br />execute the Conejo Valley Family Fun -Fest Chili Cook Off and Classic Car Show. <br />The agreement allows the 2010 event to be conducted Sunday, April 25 and a setup <br />day on April 24. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Hare said that payment to the District is $4,000 plus a <br />tiered schedule, which is the same as last year's, and he noted its description in <br />Section 8 of the submitted agreement. <br />
