CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Lange, Short <br />Jacobsen arrived at 7:34 P.M. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare and Lewanda, Recreation <br />Managers Lindsey and Wiley, Recreation Supervisor Nesbitt, Recreation Coordinator Daub, <br />and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Thousand Oaks Birthday Party Packages — Recreation Supervisor Nesbitt, Recreation <br />Coordinator Daub <br />Nesbitt and Daub provided a slide presentation, brochures and overview of the services <br />available through Thousand Oaks Birthday Party Packages. Party options include food, <br />goody bags, activities, themes, and locations. <br />Board members commended the presentation and service offered to the community. <br />Annual Recreation & Community Services Divisions Awards <br />Recipients <br />Recreation Leader America Nava Recreation Leader Mark Williams <br />Recreation Specialist Karina Montoya Recreation Leader Tracy Hull <br />Recreation Leader Jose (Andy) Morales Maintenance Worker II Floyd Loomis <br />Lindsey and Hare introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their professional and <br />academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the <br />District. <br />
