Parks Division Report Hare stated that construction on Borchard Park amenities is expected to begin shortly and favorable comments have been received from area residents. Adoption of the McCrea Ranch environmental document --Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) -- is expected in February. He lauded Aline Reynders and Kathie Harrison for their efforts on the 2010 District calendar. A meeting with the recreation staff will be scheduled to discuss planning options for the vacated Ranger area and other relevant issues at Old Meadows Center and Park. It is expected that the Conejo Community Park amenities project will be completed in approximately two months. A May opening of the new disc golf amenity is expected. B. Recreation Division Report Benton referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley's next ark show in the Galleria is a multi -media collection Symbols and Words. The Therapeutic Unit will begin weekend outing trips January 16. Casting and rehearsals are underway for the Conejo Theatre for Everyone 2010 season production, The Somewhat True Tales of Robinhood to be performed in late February. The Teen Center will host a January 15 excursion to the Staples Center for a Lakers versus the Clippers basketball game. The Winter Dance for 7th and 8th grade teens will be held January 16. An upcoming concert scheduled for Saturday, January 23 will feature the band Never Shout Never. Concluding Benton said that Aaron Council, Skate Park Specialist, created a forum to discuss skateboard issues, which will meet on January 28.
