Award Bid for Hillcrest Center Tenant Improvements <br />Hare summarized the bid process, referenced documentation, and explained that a <br />notice to bidders was placed, four bids were submitted on December 15, the low bid <br />was received from Judson Builders, Inc. and it meets all the required specifications. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Hare said that the City of Thousand Oaks was <br />informed of the project and had no objections. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, with Jacobsen <br />abstaining, to award bid to Judson Builders, Inc., in the amount of $43,317, plus <br />contingency in the amount of $8,683, totaling $52,000, for construction of <br />Hillcrest Center Tenant Improvements. Funds in the amount of $52,000 are <br />available from CIP account 62-804-852-81305-016. <br />9. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />A. Receive and File 2009 CRPD Year -in -Review and Strategic Plan Update <br />Friedl provided background information. Additionally, he noted many significant 2009 <br />Board activities and action items and summarized strategic goals accomplished. <br />Friedl suggested that a Board retreat be considered to update the five-year Strategic <br />Planning document, and re -confirm and establish new strategic goals. <br />Topics of discussion included sponsorships, credit card policy, and agency <br />relationship building. <br />Hare said that for the period July to November 2009, water consumption is <br />approximately 8 to 9 percent lower than the previous year. <br />
