Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />Friedl announced an Executive (Closed) Session would be held at the end of the <br />regular meeting. <br />Friedl discussed State budgetary issues relative to local government agencies. <br />He said that positive responses have been received relative to Northwood <br />Neighborhood Park project. <br />.,, <br />Lange noted the recent death of Bill Lotts, Director of the Ojai Valley Sanitation <br />District. <br />He presented a status report on CalLAFCO, including the conference planning <br />meeting in Riverside. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange said that Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) opened <br />a new trail in the Ballona Creek area and the recent MRCA meeting dealt with <br />Lechuza Beach conflict. He noted the recent seat dedication in his honor at the City <br />of Thousand Oaks, and thanked everyone for support. <br />Short spoke of a potential dog park event in the spring and sponsorship possibilities. <br />12.
