Award Bid in the amount of $240,100 for Conejo Community Park Driveway <br />Entryway Improvements and North Ranch Playfield Parking Lot Resurfacing <br />it was moved by Jones, seconded by Gibson, and carried ", to approve <br />awarding a bid in the amount of $240,100 to Ben's Asphalt, Inc. for Conejo <br />Community Park Driveway Entryway improvements and North Ranch Playfield <br />Parking Lot Resurfacing. <br />D. Review and Approve Updated Five Year Strategic Plan 2011 — 2015 <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried M, to approve the <br />Updated Five Year Strategic Plan 2011— 2015 as presented. <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Budget Performance Report April 2011 <br />B. Investment Report March 2011 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported the CIP Grant Funding program will close on June 1st. One application <br />has been received from the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden and a few more are <br />expected. Potential proposers for the AYSO snack shack have been interviewed. <br />Regarding the Master Plan Update, the negative declaration review period has ended <br />and the Update will be brought to the Board for adoption in the near future. <br />Lange asked about the condition of Conejo Creek South Park after Conejo Valley <br />Days. Hare reported that there was some minor damage. Lange noted the need for <br />mutt mitt dispensers along the bikeway path around Conejo Creek South. Hare will <br />investigate. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Wiley reported the Conejo Las Virgenes Future Foundation is beginning a strategic <br />planning process this Saturday. In response to a question from Jacobsen, Wiley <br />noted that the Foundation covers Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Westlake <br />Village, Agoura Hills and Calabasas. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda noted the recent Relay for Life and the District's involvement. $2000 was <br />
