Please RSVP to Aline. <br />Holt referenced a letter she received from the Council on Aging asking for Certificates <br />of Appreciation or Merit for Senior of the Year. She passed the letter on to Friedl. <br />Jones asked about implications of the Governor's May Revise on special districts. <br />Friedl responded that it does not appear to affect the District any differently than <br />previous updates. He explained how the state budget may indirectly affect the District. <br />Social safety net programs may be eliminated causing the District to see a higher <br />demand for services; scholarship requests may become more plentiful. <br />Lange praised COSCA on their video for trail education, noting its effectiveness <br />communicating to youth. <br />Jacobsen requested the calendar of events provided the Board be extended further, <br />beyond October. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Jones complimented all District personnel involved in the recent production of <br />"Ramona Quimby." <br />Director Gibson reported he will be serving as one of two CSDA representatives on <br />the Select Advisory Committee on the Climate Adaptation Guide. He will be attending <br />the first meeting in Sacramento next Monday. He is also slated to attend the Band <br />Festival that evening. <br />F.
