Strategic Plan Study Session -- Review and Update Strategic Plan <br />Friedl supplied background information regarding the District's Strategic Plan <br />approved updates from spring of 2010. The purpose of the discussion was to provide <br />an opportunity for the Board to provide input to staff on updating the elements and <br />goals within the pian. <br />Discussion ensued and recommendations were made regarding elements of the Plan <br />and possible updates and changes. <br />Friedl indicated he will incorporate the input provided by the Directors and bring the <br />proposed Plan Update back to the Board at a future time. <br />B. Appointments to the Goebel Senior Center Commission <br />Lindsey provided information regarding the Goebel Senior Center Commission <br />appointments, <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to approve the re- <br />appointments of Del Basilio, Gene Borghi, Jim Howes, and the appointments of Mary <br />Martinich and Steven Smith to the Goebel Senior Center Commission. <br />9. Budget Performance Report — March 2011 <br />In response to Director Lange's question regarding the District's water budget, Hare <br />stated that the District is currently under budget. <br />C. Goebel Senior Center Commission Minutes — January 2011 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare stated that the second Dos Vientos Playtield drawings were delivered to the City <br />of Thousand Oaks. Construction is expected to begin in the fall. <br />
