April 21, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:05 p.m., and reconvened at 8:12 p.m. <br />Recreation Revenue Presentation <br />Lindsey introduced the presentation explaining the purpose was to talk about the breadth of <br />recreation programming offered and how recreation revenue is generated. <br />Presentations were made by the following members of Recreation Staff: Recreation Services <br />Manager Steve Wiley, Recreation Supervisors Scott Engel, Patty Hamm, Andrea Koval, <br />Melissa Nesbitt, Dana Miller, Cecilia Laufenberg and Brenda Coleman. Lindsey finished up <br />with a summary of our revenue growth since the year 2000 and'the challenges the District <br />faces in the future. <br />The Directors expressed their appreciation for the informative nature of the presentation. <br />Friedl extended his great admiration for the recreation staff and their efforts. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0, to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $245,014.43 <br />Payroll Total $402,129.60 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Public Hearing — Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Budget <br />Jacobsen continued the Public Hearing to the next meeting. <br />In addition to the legal ad placed in the Ventura County Star, Friedl said an additional <br />ad noticing our budget meetings will appear in "Thousand Oaks Acorn." <br />
