The City of Thousand Oaks has budgeted approximately <br />$450,000 toward the project. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey referenced the recreation documentation, highlighting the opening celebration <br />of the new lobbies at Borchard and Thousand Oaks Center the week of May 2nd <br />through May 6th. She also remarked that the Board members received, this evening, <br />the Summer Concerts in the Park brochure with their concert parking pass... <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Ms. Lewanda reported that staff will be meeting with the State Department of <br />Finance on its audit of MRCA. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl highlighted the recent CARPD conference. <br />The CIP Budget will be presented at the next Board meeting. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Jacobsen and Jones stated that they attended the recent Califomia Association of <br />Recreation and Park Districts (CARPD) Conference in Monterey. They found it very <br />informative. Jones congratulated Gibson on his election as President of CARPD. <br />Jones participated in the "Drop Everything and Read" program and was impressed <br />with the event. <br />Lange attended the recent Water Symposium and congratulated Gibson on his <br />presentation. <br />F.
