Conejo Recreation & Park District 50th Anniversary <br />Lindsey presented an overview of the activities planned to recognize and celebrate <br />CRPD's 50th Anniversary in 2013. A special cover has been designed for the winter <br />brochure, which will include a game board insert foldout, the "Play Conejo <br />Challenge." Lindsey explained the game rules and displayed some of the prizes <br />which will be awarded. A Volunteer Appreciation Celebration is scheduled for <br />Saturday, February 23rd and is open to all past and present CRPD volunteers. <br />Hare announced a CRPD app for smart phones is currently being developed by <br />CRPD employee Matthew Jones. It will be available for iPhones and Droids and is <br />scheduled to be unveiled in 2013. The Parks Division is spearheading 50 service <br />projects for the 50th anniversary — both in-house and in cooperation with some of the <br />District's partners. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Thousand Oaks Rotary Club Chili Cook -Off — 2013 Annual Agreement and <br />Permit Conditions, Conejo Creek Park <br />With the exception of the dates, all terms and conditions for this year's agreement <br />are the same as last year. The event will be held Sunday, April 28 with set up <br />scheduled for the day before. Payment to the District is $3,000 per day for a total of <br />$6,000 for the two-day usage period. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0 to authorize <br />General Manager to execute the Thousand Oaks Rotary Club Chili Cook -Off <br />Agreement for 2013. <br />B. Approve Budget Calendar for Fiscal Years 2013114 and 2014115 <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0 to <br />approve the Budget Calendar as presented. <br />10.
