Parks Division Report Hare reported that weather permitting, the Oakbrook Neighborhood "Sneak Peak" Open House will be held this Saturday at 8:30 am. Residents and neighbors have been invited to walk the property and ask questions. At Oakbrook Service yard, the paving is close to completion. The building contractor will start work next week. The Snack Shack/Community Meeting Room at Conejo Creek South is looking good; work on the interior will begin soon. The Del Prado Playfield ribbon cutting is still tentatively scheduled for early afternoon on January 12th. Hare met with the Solar World representatives and the process for obtaining a development permit applications has begun. At Newbury Gateway Park, the city has begun preparations for the drainage improvement work on Michael Drive. B. Recreation Division Report Lindsey reported the winter brochure will be mailed on November 26th. The RSVP Luncheon is scheduled for November 27th and 28tH C. Management Services Division Report No report. D. General Manager's Report Friedl noted the need for a closed session this evening with no report expected. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation and admiration for Mark Jacobsen's 44 years of service on the Board of Directors. E. Directors' Reports Jones met with Harry Schaad a couple of weeks ago. Staff has since met with Westlake Rotary representatives and work is continuing on trying to find an alternative weekend/location for the Oak Heart Music Festival. Lange referenced his letter in the T.O. Acorn published today and expressed gratitude for his reelection; he views it as a reflection of the public's appreciation for the work the District is doing. He thanked Mark Jacobsen for his service and looks forward to working with Chuck Huffer.
