March 29, 2012 <br />Page 3 <br />Doug Overton, Chairman/Commissioner of Region 9 AYSO, presented a <br />history of the organization and emphasized the positive results of their <br />partnership with CRPD. Results include the more than doubling of AYSO's <br />playing space, a full lighting system on a majority of fields, permanent <br />restrooms, etc. Board members thanked the representatives of AYSO, <br />Doug Overton, Chuck Huffer and Tom Skaff, for their years of contributions <br />to the community. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 3-0 to: <br />1. Authorize General Manger to enter into a Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOA) with American Youth Soccer Organization <br />Region 9 (AYSO) for $600,000 initial capital contribution for <br />project costs and a 10 -year interest-free loan to AYSO for the <br />meeting roomisnack bar at Conejo Creek South Park. <br />2. Transfer and Appropriate $451,955 from the General Fund to CIP <br />account 13 802 851 80402 009 80-2. <br />3. Award bid to Malibu Pacific Tennis Courts, Inc., in the amount of <br />$839,410, plus an additional 10% contingency amount of <br />$83,941, totaling $923,351, for Conejo Creek South Park <br />Recreation/Snack Bar Building. <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Youth Outreach Impressions — January 2012 <br />Lange requested a brief presentation be made by the Outreach workers at a <br />future Board meeting. <br />B.
