Conejo Valley Days (CVD) Agreement and Permit Conditions for 2012 <br />Hare gave a brief overview of the Agreement and introduced Frank Akrey, who has <br />obtained the rights to Conejo Valley Days (CVD) from the Conejo Valley Activities <br />Corporation (CVAC), which has been dissolved. Akrey introduced Larry Janss, head of <br />Regenerate Films, Inc (Regenerate). Janss gave a brief overview of Regenerate and <br />explained the rationale behind his willingness to sign an agreement with Akrey and <br />assist in sponsorship of Conejo Valley Days 2012. <br />Board members expressed concern about various issues, including one contract being <br />contingent on another, motorcross on school district property, and noise issues. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0 to authorize <br />General Manager to execute Conejo Valley Days (CVD) Agreement for 2012 and <br />accept 2012 CVD Permits and Conditions as amended, i.e., <br />1. Page 1, paragraph #1, line 1, after words "with Akrey" add "and <br />District's approval of such contract," <br />2. Page 2, paragraph #2, line 8, change "(5)" to "(4)" and "Wednesday , <br />May 2" to "Thursday, May 3" <br />3. Page 2, paragraph #3, line 10, after words "but only" remove "if the <br />event takes place on school district land" and add "at the discretion of <br />the DISTRICT." <br />4. In Permit Conditions, Miscellaneous Section, paragraph #3, line 2, after <br />"may monitor" add "at the cost of REGENERATE" <br />B. Rotary Club of Westlake Village Oakheart Country Music Festival 2012 <br />Agreement and Permit Conditions, Conejo Creek Park <br />Hare reported the Festival is a one -day event scheduled for Saturday, August 18th; the <br />park will also be reserved one day before the event for set up and one-half day after for <br />clean up. Hare then introduced Harry Schad of the Westlake Rotary Club, who gave <br />
