MRCA Preliminary Budget Lewanda introduced Jeff Jones, Assistant Financial Officer, MRCA. Jones gave an overview of the MRCA budget and how it is formulated and managed. He answered Board member's questions It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Jones, and carried 3-0 to approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for Fiscal Year 2013 —14 as presented. Parks Division Report Hare met with St. Patrick's Day School representatives regarding the proposed trail from the school to Old Meadows Park; in concept, agreement has been reached with respect to terms and conditions. A neighborhood meeting will be held in about 10 days. An agreement will then be fine-tuned and presented to the Board. RFP's were received for Lang Ranch Community Park Environmental Analysis and Design Concept. After staff review and a meeting with the Lang Ranch Ad Hoc Committee, RRM has been chosen as the top proposer. Upon meeting with RRM next week, the process will begin to arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement. Tomorrow an application will be filed for two $25K water conservation grants with Cal Am Water; monies would be used at Wildflower Playfield and Dos Vientos Community Park to
