June 13, 2013 <br />Page 2 <br />C. Board Meeting Calendar Revision <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Jones, and carried 3-0 to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Adoption of Budget for Fiscal Years 2013-14 & 2014-15 <br />Hare presented the budget and reported there are no changes to the Operating <br />Budget that was presented to the Board on May 30th; a few revisions were made to <br />the proposed 10 -Year Capital Budget based on Board member's comments at the <br />Board budget hearing on May 23'd which were highlighted in the report and which he <br />briefly outlined. Additionally, Hare outlined the 50 h Anniversary edition of the annual <br />Matching Grant Program, details of which can be found in Exhibit G of the report. <br />Lewanda clarified that the resolution allows for any current projects, initially expected <br />to be done by June 30 but not projected to be done after June 30 provides staff with <br />the authority to complete the projects up and come back to the Board with a future <br />report. <br />Hare answered Board member's questions. Lange thanked Lewanda and all staff <br />involved for their hard work in formulating this budget. <br />Clint Matkovich, Thousand Oaks, requested clarification regarding the parking lot <br />paving projects at Stagecoach Inn Wildflower Playfields. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 3-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 061313-A, a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District adopting the Fiscal Year 2013-14 & 2014-15 <br />Budgets for the District, that it be read in title only and all further readings be <br />waived. <br />8. Amendment #1 to Agreement with Equestrian Trials Incorporated Corral #37 <br />for Use of Conejo Creek West— Equestrian Park <br />Hare reviewed a history of the partnership between the District and ETI over the past <br />30 years; operations were formalized five years ago. <br />
