1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />June 13, 2013 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and Koval led the flag salute. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson, Holt <br />Staff Present: Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey and Executive Assistant <br />Reynders <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Goebel Adult Community Center — Senior Softball and Old Cranks — Andrea Koval <br />Koval gave an overview of the Old Kranks Bicycle Club, which was formed in 1986 and <br />comprises over 90 members. Additionally, Koval shared information on Thousand Oaks <br />Senior Softball (TOSS), which began in the mid -80's and has over 200 players, ages 50- <br />80+. <br />Koval praised her staff and introduced those in the audience, Mike McAdam, Recreation <br />Specialist and Rick Tanaka, Administrative Assistant. <br />Koval answered Board member's questions and was thanked for her informative <br />presentation. <br />ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 3-0 to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />6.
