Minutes 1-27-16 <br />Page 3 <br />three-year terms, there are a total of six Commission seats to be considered. <br />He also confirmed that applications must be received at Conejo Recreation <br />& Park District Administrative Offices, Hillcrest Center, by 5:00pm, Friday, <br />February 26. <br />Smith said the committee will continue to meet to work to refine the <br />recruitment and interview process and to make sure applicants understand <br />the commitment involved. <br />C. Update on Ralphs Fundraising Program <br />Fineroff, in response to Seerden, reported that the Commission has received <br />$2,600 from the current Ralph's Market fundraising program. He noted that <br />he and other members of the Programs Committee have been reaching out <br />to patrons who are Ralph's shoppers to make them aware of the program <br />and invite them to participant. <br />Coleman thanked Fineroff for embracing the program. It was noted that due <br />to Fineroffs efforts, the program funds the Commission has received this <br />year are double from what was received last year. <br />6. Officer and Committee Reports and Recommendations <br />A. President <br />No report <br />B. Vice President <br />No report. <br />C. Secretary <br />Martinich inquired as to the Commission's record retention policy, to which <br />Norkin noted the California Civil Code guidelines for record retention. <br />Martinich confirmed that due to the increasing amount of Commission <br />materials that storage is becoming a concern. Seerden noted that <br />consolidation of Commission records may be warranted and requested a <br />report at the next Commission monthly meeting. <br />Additionally, Martinich reported she will be sending out the current <br />Commission Committee member list. <br />
