APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 9, 2015 <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the December <br />meeting. <br />It was moved by Norkin, seconded by Martinich, and passed <br />unanimously, to approve the minutes of the December meeting as <br />presented. <br />S. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. 2016 FPPC State Form 700 <br />Seerden noted that Commissioners are required to complete and submit an <br />annual California Fair Political Practices Commission Form 700. <br />Hessman distributed the forms and reviewed completion details noting the <br />deadline for submission is April 1, 2016. <br />B. GSCC Terms, Re -applying Process <br />Smith, in response to Seerden, reported the Ad Hoc Commission Applicant <br />Review/Interview Committee met Monday, January 25. He said the <br />committee reviewed the Commission recruitment announcement and they <br />have recommended including a breakdown of typical volunteer hours <br />Commissioners are responsible to commit to. He said the committee also <br />recommended that the monthly Commission volunteer hours be raised from <br />10 to 15. He noted that the committee will review communication <br />procedures with potential candidates and endeavor to educate applicants as <br />to the time and commitments involved as a member of the Commission. <br />Seerden noted Steve Bonthius has submitted his letter of resignation from <br />the Commission, and with the remaining one-year of his term, and the five <br />
