Create enclosed, temporary, off -leash dog areas within Kimber, Walnut <br />Grove and Estella Neighborhood Parks. <br />2. Appropriate $8,000 from Districtwide Assessment Fund Balance to <br />Districtwide Assessment Account 62-62-662-3800-016. <br />B. Award Bid for EI Parque de la Paz Play Area Renovation in the Amount <br />of $194,500 <br />Hare reported this project was the result of a $208,200 grant awarded the District <br />by the California Housing and Community Development Department's Housing - <br />Related Parks Program. The proposed contractor, Unlimited Engineering <br />Contracting, Inc., recently completed the Borchard Community Park Playground; <br />staff was very pleased with their work on that project. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to: <br />1. Award bid to Unlimited Engineering Contracting, Inc., in the amount of <br />$194,500, plus an approximate 7% contingency amount of $13,417, <br />totaling $207,917 for EI Parque De La Paz Play Area Renovation. Funds <br />are available from CIP account 3-801-811-80304-002. <br />2. Authorize the General Manager to execute other documents and <br />agreements necessary to effectuate this project. <br />C. Authorize Lease, Service and Management of Print Fleet <br />Segedie, IT Analyst, reported that in 2011 the District moved to a standardized <br />printer/copier fleet. The current equipment is now aging and vendor support has <br />not been up to expected standards. Konica will provide new equipment, with <br />improved capabilities, and will buy out the current lease at a projected slight <br />savings to the District. The equipment will be acquired through the cooperative <br />purchasing program WSCA-NASPO. <br />
