November 20, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, and their families for their support, and <br />expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Roberta Kopacz, Thousand Oaks, thanked the Board for the attention paid to her concerns <br />regarding the Olsen Channel. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of November 6, 2014 Board Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $184,893.35 <br />Payroll $492,800.00 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to approve the <br />consent calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Create Enclosed, Temporary, Off -Leash Dog Areas Within Kimber, Walnut <br />Grove and Estella Neighborhood Parks <br />Hare gave background on the item; additionally, he reported on the process used to <br />arrive at the current plan. Denise Johns, Park Planner, added some specifics, <br />including maps of each park showing where the off leash areas would be located <br />and the accommodations to be provided. <br />Monica Nolan, Thousand Oaks, President of COLA (Conejo Off Leash Area <br />Friends) commended the District for addressing the need for more off leash dog <br />
