Approval of Minutes of July 2, 2015 Board Meeting <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 3-2 (Jones and Gibson <br />abstained) to approve the minutes of the July 2, 2015 Board Meeting. <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $416,379.86 <br />Payroll $413,200.00 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to approve the Warrants <br />as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. EXECUTIVE CLOSED SESSION -- Park Conference Room <br />CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS - Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />- District Representatives: Adrianna Guzman, Esq; General Manager Friedl, Administrator <br />Lewanda and Supervisor Howell Relative to Salary Schedules and Fringe Benefits for <br />Unrepresented Employees <br />The Board did not hold a closed session meeting. <br />10. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Ventura County Area on Aging Agreement for the Purchase of Services for the <br />Senior Nutrition Program and Adoption of Resolution 071615-A <br />Lindsey provided background regarding the agreement; she referenced the initial Board <br />report on May 21, 2015 where an update was provided on the proposed senior cafe, <br />including information on the agreement reached with the Ventura County Area Agency on <br />Aging (VCAAA) to incorporate the Senior Nutrition Program into the cafe. The proposed <br />agreement presented this evening transitions the District's relationship with the VCAAA <br />from a contractor to a vendor. Lindsey answered Board member's questions. It is <br />anticipated that the caf6 will be open on or about November 1". <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution <br />071615-A authorizing the General Manager to sign agreement with Ventura County <br />Area Agency on Aging for the Senior Nutrition Program, that it be read in title only <br />and all further readings be waived. <br />B. Salary and Benefit Adjustments for the Unrepresented Full Time and Regular Part <br />Time Employees and Adoption of Resolutions 071615-13, 071615-C and 071616-D <br />
