NEW ITEMS A. Ventura County Area on Aging Agreement for the Purchase of Services for the Senior Nutrition Program and Adoption of Resolution 071615-A Lindsey provided background regarding the agreement; she referenced the initial Board report on May 21, 2015 where an update was provided on the proposed senior cafe, including information on the agreement reached with the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) to incorporate the Senior Nutrition Program into the cafe. The proposed agreement presented this evening transitions the District's relationship with the VCAAA from a contractor to a vendor. Lindsey answered Board member's questions. It is anticipated that the caf6 will be open on or about November 1". It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution 071615-A authorizing the General Manager to sign agreement with Ventura County Area Agency on Aging for the Senior Nutrition Program, that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived.
