APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />amended, i.e., move Item 9B ahead of Item 7A. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of May 21, 2015 Board Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $166,145.12 <br />Payroll $343,250.00 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer and carried 5-0 to approve the consent <br />calendar as presented. <br />9. B. Support for Alternative D (as Modified) in the Rim of the Valley Special Resource <br />Study <br />Friedl introduced the item and gave a general overview of the Rim of the Valley <br />Resource Study. He then introduced Ann Dove, Planner with the NPS Pacific West <br />Region and Project Manager of the Study, who provided a more detailed explanation of <br />the study and the alternatives available. Public comment ends on June 30t' and it is <br />hoped the study can be submitted to Congress either in late 2015 or early 2016. She <br />answered Board member's questions. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to authorize <br />General Manager to submit a comment letter on behalf of the Conejo Recreation <br />and Park District supporting the Rim of the Valley Special Resource Study <br />Alternative D. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Proposed Budget for Fiscal Years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 <br />Lewanda gave a PowerPoint presentation providing a general overview of the budget <br />and answered Board member's questions. Gibson proposed continual monitoring and <br />reduction of water costs. The item, including the proposed ten year capital <br />improvement plan, will be brought back to the Board on June 18th for final approval. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) <br />Preliminary Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-16 <br />
