Lewanda will do some research, including checking with our auditors, to <br />see if this is meaningful for any agencies. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to Adopt Resolution <br />052115-13 Setting the Appropriation Amount Subject to Limitation, FY 2015-2015 <br />(Gann Limit) that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />C. Adopt Resolution 052115-C Setting Facility and Filming Fees and Charges <br />Lindsey reported that annually the Board is presented with recommendations for <br />setting facility and filming fees. Rates were increased last year by 5%; staff <br />recommends no increase this year, with the exception of the Cultural Unit Rooms at <br />Hillcrest Center, which were omitted from last year's increase. An error was noted in <br />the Board report; on page 66, under Section 514 Filming, there should be no <br />"Proposed Fee" column; the numbers under that column should be displayed under <br />"Current Fee." <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting no) <br />to adopt Resolution 052115-C Setting Facility and Filming Fees and Charges, <br />that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />D. Goebel Adult Community Center Caf6 — Operations Update <br />Hare reported this is a status report and follow up to the February 19th Board report <br />seeking to create a restauranttcafe operated by a private vendor at the Goebel Adult <br />Community Center. Research following that meeting resulted in the discovery of a <br />program in Illinois that combines a private concessionaire and a senior nutrition <br />program. As a result, as of June 30, 2015, CRPD and the County of Ventura will <br />terminate their contact agreement. CRPD will enter into a vendor agreement with the <br />County, and the County will reimburse the District for every senior nutrition meal served <br />to a senior at the cafe. The concessionaire, "Chef It Up," has agreed to the senior meal <br />concept and will work with the District and the County on its implementation. It is staffs <br />intent to return to the Board with a recommended mutually -beneficial agreement. Hare <br />described various details of the program. During renovations, a temporary service can <br />be set up with several vendors to provide meals to seniors at the center. The Goebel <br />Senior Commission approved this project and pledged $10K toward the remodel. Work <br />is currently underway for a plan check for County approval, Lindsey and Hare <br />answered Board members questions and were thanked for their efforts on this project. <br />E. Amended Purchasing Policy (moved from 6C) <br />Hare reported recently the state made some changes to the public contracting code; in <br />an effort to incorporate this code into CRPD's Purchasing Policy, this update has been <br />presented for approval.
