May 16, 2024
Page 2
C. There being no public present, Lange continued the Public
Hearing to the next Regular Board meeting on June 6, 2024.
Is] -0-al•I ; =Pq Z -7
Friedl distributed a draft Ordinance Code Update document to Board members and referred
to its history and former revisions. After much work by staff on the current update, an attorney
was hired to work with staff and assist with getting it to its present version. Friedl referred to
the edits and the reasoning behind them. The Draft is considered approximately 90%
complete and Friedl will soon send to the Board members a "Table of Contents" and a key to
assist with referencing the old document to the new. The goal is to hold a Board Study
Session in the next month or two with the attorney present as the next step toward finalizing
the document.
9. NEW ITEMS
A. Adopt Resolution No. 051624-A Setting Facility Rental Fees & Deposits and
Filming Fees
Callis reported that staff annually review the facility rental fees, deposits and filming
fees. She provided details and background on the changes recommended. A new
"change fee" is suggested so as to reduce administrative time spent addressing
changes to already issued permits; it is in line with current practices among
neighboring agencies.
It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to adopt
Resolution 051624-A which sets the Facility Rental Fees, Deposits, and Filming
Fees for the Conejo Recreation & Park District effective July 1, 2024, that it be
read in title only and all future readings be waived.
