Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />JOINT USE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />AND HILLCREST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL <br />(Revised 712102) <br />This joint use agreement is made this 11th day of July 2002, by and between the <br />Hillcrest Christian School, hereinafter designated as "SCHOOL," and the Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District, hereinafter designated as "DISTRICT," and shall <br />jointly use the Estella Park property in accordance with the conditions set forth <br />below: <br />1. School will hold the DISTRICT harmless, and indemnify the DISTRICT, its <br />officers, and employees for any and every claim or demand which may be made <br />by any person(s) as a result of the use of the property by the SCHOOL. The <br />DISTRICT will hold SCHOOL harmless for any claims made by any person(s) <br />as a result of the public use of the property. <br />2. The DISTRICT will have use of the property each school day between <br />3:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and all Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and other days <br />when the SCHOOL is not in session. The .2 -acre property shall be fenced and <br />gated, gate remaining locked during SCHOOL's hours of operation (7:00 a.m. <br />to 3:30 p.m.). <br />3. School will unlock the gate to the fenced .2 -acre property each school day at <br />3:30 p.m., and will lock it at 7:00 a.m. The fence at the northern boundary of <br />the property was placed on DISTRICT property, and will become DISTRICT <br />property at the termination of this AGREEMENT. <br />4. During this joint use period, not to exceed one year from the commencement of <br />this agreement, SCHOOL shall name DISTRICT as additional insured on their <br />liability insurance policy.
