disability amount. Basic needs allowance will be prorated according to the <br />number of sick leave/vacations hours used. Any employee who was on non- <br />industrial disability during the MQU period of May 1, 1991 to September 30, <br />1991 will have his/her disability payment recalculated and have any sick leave or <br />vacation used in excess of the hours needed to provide a full net paycheck <br />recredited to accruals. <br />F. Upon application, the General Manager, with the approval of the Board of <br />Directors, may extend the period of disability benefits beyond the six (6) month <br />period, depending upon the individual circumstances of an employee's disability <br />G. There will be no cap on the number of sick leave hours an employee may <br />accumulate. When the cost exceeds the contribution, the balance needed will be <br />withheld first from the basic needs allowance (ARTICLE 27) and secondly from <br />the salary of the employee.
